ELYSE AYLIFFE (B.S.W., M.S.W., R.S.W)

Elyse (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker and Clinical Traumatologist, who has completed her Masters in Social Work. She has been providing counselling for families, adolescents and adults alike since 2014. Her compassionate and empathetic nature has allowed her to walk with clients experiencing a wide range of ever changing life events such as relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, family/couple conflict, managing emotions, flexible thinking, coping skills, life coaching, and supportive counselling.

Unique to Elyse is her training in EMDR. She is passionate about understanding the complexities of trauma and the impact it can have in relation to development and growth. Her purpose is to help clients process, evolve, and heal traumatic experiences and limiting beliefs to become the best version of themselves. Elyse implements an eclectic approach incorporating a wide range of modalities that are unique to each client’s needs. She has her certification as a New Ways for Families coach where she puts heart in guiding families toward managing their emotions and bringing flexible thinking to problem-solving in order to live their lives more freely and with ease.

RACHEL LAROSEE (R.P., M.A.)

Rachel (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Canadian Certified Counsellor and Clinical Traumatologist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

Rachel has always had a passion for helping others which is why she spent the last 10 years working in the law field. Working in law exposed her to the complexities of life, developing her belief that change, growth and healing is possible if individuals are supported with compassion, empathy, and non-judgement. This belief has become her therapeutic approach, along with recognizing and valuing that each client is unique, making the therapy process unique. Rachel will walk alongside clients through their challenges and suffering, hold a space for healing, and help clients move towards a life more in alignment with meaning and purpose.

Rachel embraces the experiential, humanistic and psychodynamic therapy models, but will infuse elements from a variety of therapy models based on the client’s needs and desired outcomes. Rachel provides individual therapy (including children 12+) for difficult life transitions, divorce/separation, grief/loss, anger and stress management, anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem.
